ur youth and young adult population in the DC region is in a crisis. They are undereducated, unemployed and unskilled. Such realities lead to increased crime, violence and drug abuse throughout our impoverished neighborhoods and Urban Ed is making a call to action to help end the crisis.

Urban Ed is committed to helping low income youth and young adults throughout the District of Columbia and the region gain the capacity to secure their futures and be contributing members in the economic vitality of our city. To achieve this we have launched our 2007 Call to Action campaign and would like for you to join us in our efforts.

To join Urban Ed's Inspire a Future campaign, you can either:

• Contribute to Urban Ed with cash donations
  
• Federal Employees, contribute through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC#34840)
  
• Volunteer in a variety of ways to Urban Ed youth
