TechnoAcademy is an IT Preparedness program,
covering one semster of technical and business training. This program is an school-based or after-school initiative
designed to provide basic and advanced skills in technology to school-aged youth still in school and at great risk of being
influenced by crime, drugs or violence. The program utilizes the Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) level principles, preparing youth for general office and professional careers where computer knowledge is important to productivity in the workplace. The IC3 certification meets the No Child Left Behind requirements for digital literacy and is a flexible program driven by creative game-based activities and practical learning to ensure youth's competency and understanding of technology.
